Free Computers
Free to Students (7th Grade and up, including college students)
To qualify for a computer…
You must complete ten (10) hours of Service to your community*.

Please submit your volunteer conformation letter... along with your application and school performance & attendance form.

A librarian at any public library will help you print out these necessary forms.

We are presently, normally giving Pentium 4 desk top computers.
We only give laptop computers to full-time college students who attend "on site" college classes.
Laptop computers are very easy to damage and very difficult to repair.

If you would rather not wait for us to build one, and can afford to buy a good used computer...

The computers that we give have  operating system and "Office"  type programs.
 This provides word processing (writing letters and school papers), spreadsheet, (doing accounting), and database, (organizing lists of people and things).
 
We install 2003 (updated) and

We provide a FREE six (6) month “dial-up” Internet connection!
Our free Internet requires a phone line to your house to work.
Please have a statement confirming completion of your ten (10) hours of service when you apply for a computer.
The statement must be on official stationary telling what volunteer work was done, when done, hours completed.

*The volunteer hours must be done specifically to earn credit for a computer and must be done for a not-for-profit
community organization such as a school, church, neighborhood organization, or other charitable organization.
