 Eastown Ministries programs.

Hi, If you are interested in living and tutoring students as a part of living in this house, please show up at 614 Benjamin and introduce yourself as a person who is considering applying to live in the house and helping the Eastown Ministries by tutoring students.  Do not ask to take a tour of the upstairs, private spaces where the present student tenants have their personal possessions.  Since you have seen the Internet advertisement photos, I guess that we can say that you already have had a "showing".You can inspect the upstairs, with a present student tenant, after you have volunteered 10 hours and have decided this program will work for you.

Note: We have two College women students who need one or two other single women to make this work for them.

* Eastown * All utilities & wireless Internet included * $500 for the whole house, NOT per person * This is not a normal rental offering, special considerations apply. We are seeking a single woman who would agree, and is accepted to work in the Eastown Ministries programs for 10 hours per week as a part of their rental agreement to live in this newly-restored house. The service hours will be expected when the ministry opportunity exists each week. Before a rental application is accepted and processed, each tenant applicant must volunteer at least 10 hours in the Eastown Ministries programs to insure that the commitment is understood and each is able to work in the program.

Check the hours of ministry operation on our web site and show up, introduce yourself, and work with the other volunteers.

The living room, dining room, and part of the basement would be used from 3:00 - 5:30 pm Monday - Thursday by tenants of this house and other volunteers who come to help neighborhood students complete their daily school homework, PLEASE CHECK THE FOLLOWING WEB SITE FOR DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT EASTOWN MINISTRIES and their youth programs.: www.wherevergodwills.org/eastown_ministries.htm. We require a resume' which includes volunteer experience, and we carefully check credit, background and references.

What working in ministry means is: helping with some of the Eastown Ministry programs listed on our web site as a regular participant leader. You may select to work within whatever programs that you are qualified for, interested in, wherever needed, in whichever one you are skilled in and/or willing to learn.
