Please submit all information
together. |
| 1. |

one. If you need more

|
Print and fill out the
Application Form. Click the button to the left to open the form for
printing. |
| 3. |
 |
Print and fill out the School
Performance Form. School attendance and academic effort may determine the priority of delivery of computers to
applicants. This should also should be sent to the above address. |
| 4. |
Complete 10 hours Community
Service and provide proof.
Please
click here to get instructions that the non-profit must have to
document
your service. |

| Here are some of the details
about the computers and software we provide: |
|
We place computers in homes that don't presently have...
and can not
afford to buy a computer.
Is
it better to go with with laptops or desktops? Click here to find
out.
We are presently giving
Pentium III & Pentium 4 desk top computers.
We feel that laptop
computers are very easy to damage and very difficult to repair.
If you would rather not wait for us to build one, and can afford to buy
a good used computer...
Call:
Valley Environmental at
235-1500 ( 1040 Market SW), or Comprenew
at
451-4400 (629 Ionia SW)
We install an "Office" type...*program on
the computer.

Read
an article comparing the newest Microsoft Office programs to OpenOffice
programs.
The
programs that we install provide tools for word processing (writing
letters and school papers), spreadsheet, (doing accounting
type work), and database, (organizing lists of people and
things). These programs are designed for
middle school, high school,
and college use.
We also install a
financial management program that can
help you balance your check book, keep track of your household
bills, and do other financial management tasks that are helpful.
* The version of this software is nearly the same and
compatible with the programs used by students in local schools.
We recommend the
free
version of Security
Software
listed below:
|
 We
provide a FREE six (6) month
unlimited
"dial-up" Internet connection!
After six (6) months, you
can arrange continued "dial-up" connection from Allendale
Com. |
WARRANTY...We do not warranty or guarantee
a computer's continued service beyond 30 days. If students have any problems,
we will try to help them as soon as possible after any period of
time.
We rebuild computers and do not require any financial payment.
It is our
contribution to the community much like the one students make (ten hours)
to qualify for a computer.
*Community Service credit for obtaining a computer may be completed by members of your family at a church, school, neighborhood association, or any combination
of community organizations of your choice
